Rithy H. (August 2010) – 5 star rating! “Alright…so I’ve been meaning to write a review on Melissa since I went to her last year..probably around this time last year actually. Let me tell you, I have a nickname in my language and it means (you can laugh) Baldy. Seriously, my hair is thin and there isn’t much there. I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m not bald NOW, but when I didn’t have much hair as a baby. Okay so lets get to the point…I lived in Westwood for about 6-7 years now and have tried all the nice looking (expensive!) Salons out there…trust me when I say I have been to them ALL. So I figured that since I’m dropping money like it grows on trees why not search for a nice salon. YELP! Melissa B came up first and after a few days of contemplating it over and over again, I made that first appointment. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE! She gave me these beautiful layers that made my hair sing and dance when I walked out of the Salon. It was AMAZING to say the least. 2nd appointment…BRAZILIAN BLOW OUT…believe me ladies..Melissa SAVED my hair..she seriously is so knowledgeable of everything about hair that it freaked me out, I was in awe as to how much there is to know! I had dead ends from dying it all sorts and trying this and that product. My ends did not want to live and Melissa brought it back to life. She isn’t pushy, telling you to buy this and that, she suggests products to you and I can honestly tell you she genuinely wants to help your hair and you too of course. The most recent visit to Melissa was yesterday 8/7/2010, she gave me highlights and a cut and once again, I couldn’t be happier. The highlights were so well done that you’d think it was my natural color and the cut..singing and dancing like always. Okay so in short…because I think I’m blabbering..SHE’S THE BEST in every aspect. You will not be disappointed. Trust.”

In LA (May 2009) – 5 star rating! “Melissa is amazing! I read the reviews on here, made an appointment, and in a brave moment told Melissa to do whatever she wanted to my hair… that she had complete artistic license to do as she wished. What I received was the best haircut ever. She is a phenomenal artist and now I can understand why her clients fly in to see her. She’s truly irreplaceable. If I ever move from LA, I will be flying in to see her as well.”

Mae E. – (May 2009) – 5 star rating! “If you want to be in an environment that prides itself on aesthetics and professionalism, and if you want an artist who will pay devoted attention to your requests and give you your wishes better than you had imagined, then do see Melissa. I have liked other salons in the past, but it isn’t until now that I just can’t see myself going to any other stylist… not even if I had more expendable cash! I feel she’s that good. She’s honest, patient, fun and thoroughly talented. She is a rare find. Treat yourself!”
